Wouldn’t it be nice to have another way to get to Folsom, without having to get on the Highway? We thought we were going to get it sooner, but it seems that this project is now out of the window of the Countys’ 5 year plan.  The extension would be at Saratoga Way, connecting with Iron Point Boulevard.  John Knight urged speakers at the latest hearing on the subject-“not to consider the EIR adoption, which is the final action on the connector.”  He went on to stat that the County doesn’t have the right of way or the money for this project.  Also, as with any connection-there are other issues to consider along the way…the initial design work is planned to be complete by 2013.  Will give enough time to mitigate residents’ concerns.
