This is News! Who doesn’t like those old time Steam engines?! Well, this 30-gauge amusement is scheduled to return to active duty August 21st! (photo to be downloaded soon) Many of us residents are hoping this is the last attraction that is needed to make Burke’s Junction thrive. Stop in, there really are some great shops and restaurants in the junction. Trust me, it will be worth your time…especially starting the 21st! Don’t miss the event to unveil the ChooChoo! The town “Ho Down for Humanity” as they are calling it-will benefit Habitat for Humanity. There will be a BBQ rib showdown, a Country Music concert-featuring “Crossman Connection” an auction, raffle and a street party! WOO HOO.
